Hi Wilson,

Please configure as per the following

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/manual/cmeadm/cmedirs.html

Manish

Hi Manish,

Thanks a lot for Your contact and the link. I read the documentation, but, not is clear for me if the configuration should be

1) Router(config-telephony)# url directories http://10.0.0.11/localdirectory

or

2) Router(config-telephony)# directory entry 1 5550111 name Sales (In this situation I have configure one-by-one directory number and name?)

Thank You,

Wilson

Hi Manish

I configured to modes:

First: Router(config-telephony)# directory entry 1 5550111 name Sales (In this situation I have configure one-by-one directory number and name?)

In this mode, didn´t worked

Second: Router(config-telephony)# url directories http://10.0.0.11/localdirectory

In this mode worked to 7962, but, didn´t worked to 6921 (appear service unavailable)

Any have idea?

Thanks,

Wilson

Hi Wilson,

Can you try accessing fast dials through Services > Personal Directories on the 6921.

Manish

Hi Manish,

The Customer did the test and appear "Service Unavailable". I have the same setup in my lab and the IP Phones (diferente model) is work fine.

Thanks,

Wilson

Hi Manish,

After to do many try, I opened in the case in PDI and received the answer of Engenier that there are a bug related and that closed

"There is a known issue that the local directory doesn't work with 6900 series phones when you have a user locale set (CSCuy08317).  Unfortunately, this defect was closed because the 6900 phones are past end of software maintenance and will not be receiving any more updates.

Thank You,

Wilson

Hi Wilson,

I would suggest engaging TAC to see if there is any workaround or any special ES firmware that may contain the fix for this issue.

Manish

Hi Manish,

The 69xx Family is end-of-sale and end-of-life. The last date to do fix for software was July 30 2015.

Thanks,

Wilson

I understand that Wilson, what i am saying is that its end of software maintenance so no new firmware updates would be available but they might have access to some ES firmware released earlier that might help or some workaround that they may suggest. If you are okay with these phones not loading the directory then its fine, it was just one last option that came to my mind.

Manish

Hi Manish,

The information about bug was passed by Cisco PDI, because, the Customer don´t have contract to open TAC.

Thanks,

Wilson

What was the final resolution to the issue? Thanks

Regards,

Daniel
