We have intagrated our 5.1 CCM with Microsoft's AD, however when we try to login to the ccmuser page we get an error saying "Access to the requested resource has been denied"

I have setup "LDAP Authentication for End Users" but still no luck.

Hi,

The enduser must now be added to the User Group "Standard CCM End Users"

before the ccmuser pages can be accessed. Could you please verify your

configuration and give me an update?

Please perform following steps in order to add user into User Group:

2) Go to the User Group Page

3) Click the link for Standard CCM End Users

4) Click the Add Users to Group Button

5) Click the check box next to the userid

6) Click the Add selected button

7) Go to the End User Page

8) Click the link for

9) Scoll to the bottom and ensure Standard CCM End Users appears in the

permission section.

10) Login to CCMUser as with configured password

Any way to make this the default for new users?

Nobody to answer ?

No, but if you are adding phones with users via BAT you can include that as part of the import. If you are building them individually then you have to do this manually, or still use BAT, but that would defeat the purpose if you are doing one at a time.

HTH,

Chris

So my problem is that i use LDAP synchro....

When i would add a new user, I should add it in the CCM to use group every time ???

Thanks,

Matt

If you are LDAP integrated you do not add the users in CUCM you simply provision them, one of the provisioning items is the user groups.  As explained before in order to gain access to ccmuser page the user needs to be associated with the End user group.  Even with LDAP integrated deployment you can use BAT to set some of the parameters which may help when doing in in bulk.

HTH,

Chris
