My customer is running CME 11.6 with LPCOR & PIN feature for International calls.
Now below is the detail of issue which I would like to highlight and need a permanent solution on the same.
Note 1: PIN feature is only use for SCCP phones as it’s not supported on SIP phones. Also, PIN is configure directly under Ephone. That means it is dedicated to that user and phone. We can not use this PIN with any other phones to make an International calls.
Note 2: Deployed LPCOR Fac authentication feature for SIP Phones.
e.g. Here we configure username 12345 password 0 12345 for the authentication which is on global level.
So, user can use any SIP phone which having international access to call outside as USERID & PASSWORD are configured on global level in LPCOR Feature.
Concern:
We have syslog for billing server and it is giving accurate data for SCCP phones.
SCCP E.g. When user make a call from SCCP phone using PIN, my syslog accounting software reflects the PIN of user along with extension detail.
SIP e.g. : When We make a call using SIP phone it doesn’t reflect any userid or password on my accounting software. It only shows user extension number which is not enough to identify who has made call using which USERID & PASSWORD.
My concern is that this LPCOR feature USERID & PASSWORD should reflect on my account software to for the identification of user.
I hope I have tried my best to explain the issue. Please let me know if there is any solution to get the proper accouting details of SIP phone.
