MAC address are not on the switch port

Hello,

a mac address is not shown on the switch port. 

The switchport ist configured with voice vlan. 

The telephone is booting uns searches for an ip address.

What other verification options are there?

If you plug a PC into the same port (remove the phone) and configure the PC's VLAN to be the same VLAN as the phone, does the PC get a valid IP address?

Hi,

If this is Cisco switch, do you have CDP enabled on it. Do you have DHCP programmed for voice VLAN? Can you please provide network diagram with switch configuration.

Can you post show run interface gi x/x - do you have DAta and voice VLAN ?

are you not able to see MAC address - make sure Phone setup correctly and get DHCP and options setup correct to register with voice server ?
