if you are using callmanger then use the bellow steps
1- create apartition called Mngr and assign it to the Manager line
2- create a CSS to be assigned to the Vocie Gateway call it VGW_CSS add all the currently used partitions to it except the above one Mngr
3- for internal users CSS make sure that their CSSs have the above created partition which is Mngr
4- create new Partition called MngrXLT
5- add this partition to the VGW_CSS
6- create a translation apttren which has the exact same number of the manager in the patten and give it CSS that can reach the assistant internal number
7- make the called number transformation as the
assitant
internal number
now when a call comes to the manager number through the voice gateway, the voice gateway can not reach the manager line directly and wit willgo to the above translation pattern and this will translate the number to the assistant number and sent to the assistant instead of the manager
for internal calls as long as you provide the internal lines's CCS access to the Mngr partition they will be able to call nornmally and directly
Note:
if you have any other systems that need to access te Mnager line such as voice mail ports the new partition of the manager create above in step 1 need to be added to the CSS of these CTIs/Ports
