Map UserID to alternate field in LDAP sync

I've been asked by our CIO whether there is a way to map the userID field in CallManager to something other than samAccountName in the LDAP attributes...I'm seeing that it is hard-coded though.  Has anyone ever come across a similar issue and have you found a fix for it?  One thought was mapping it to the employee number in AD (hidden field)...not sure if this is possible though. 

We're currently running CallManager 9.1.2.

Any help is appreciated

That's because you only choose it when you create the integration, there's no way to modify it without removing the whole integration, and recreating it
