Hi,

I have a costumer, that has 60 voice register pool configured(sip phones) , and 40 ephones (SCCP) in the same router, and all is working perfectly.

Follow the show configs :

voice register global

max-dn 288

max-pool 96

telephony-service

max-ephones 110

max-dn 288

My question is:

In the router , can i configure and use 96(Sip phones) + 110(SCCP phones)  =  206 total, without problems?

Tks

On a 2851 you can have up to 100 SCCP phones and up to 100 SIP phones, registered simultaneously.

Also, per cisco licensing terms:

Total number of connected IP phones cannot exceed Maximum Total listed including SCCP and SIP phones on the same router.

From: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/requirements/guide/cme86spc.htm.html

For the 2851, 'Maximum Total' is also 100. However, this limitation is not enforced.

Which router model is that ?

Cisco 2851 (revision 53.50) with 241664K/20480K bytes of memory.

If i understood, the cme version is 7.1, i can use both, but could be necessary an upgrade to more memory, correct?

You should have at least 512MB to run recent IOS with a large number of phones.

Thanks for the nice rating and good luck!
