Maximum FXS ports supported on High-Density Extension Modules?

How many FXS ports are supported on a single EVM-HD-8FXS/DID? I've been getting mixed responses on this...from a documentation issue to a technical difficency in the EM3. And no, a VG224 will not suffice.

The only documented method (see link below) for 24 FXS ports is EVM-HD-8FXS/DID + EM-HDA-8FXS + EM-HDA-8FXS or EVM-HD-8FXS/DID + EM-HDA-8FXS + EM3-HDA-8FXS/DID. Seeing as the EM-HDA-8FXS is EoS/EoL, this is no longer a possiblity.

The only other option is EVM-HD-8FXS/DID + EM3-HDA-8FXS/DID + EM3-HDA-8FXS/DID, but source say this gives me 16 FXS ports.

I dont see how thats possible, especially considering 3945-112FXS bundle gives you 112 FXS ports (4x4 FXS on-board + 4x24 FXS NM).

Thoughts?

According to this data sheet - even shows a picture

EVM-HD-8FXS/DID is an RJ21 interface that wires out to your preferred cabling system like RJ45 etc etc.

It SUPPORTS 8 x FXS or DID type ports.
