Maximum input received extension mobility - IP Communicator

Hi,

When I try to type a long email address as UserID in Cisco IP Communicator there is an error message 'Maximum input received'.

We can't create an alias because our users are synchronized with LDAP.

I know there is no more support from Cisco for this product but do u have an idea ?

Use the USRER-ID  displayed on your CUCM enduser page. Does your USER id showing testtesttest@testtesttest ?

Yes, the UserID is the email address (synchronized with LDAP, I can't modify this field).

You do have the option to use samaccountname as the field for user name in CM instead of email.

There is a limitation for only 32 characters to be allows for user input, there is no way around this, other than using shorter user IDs.
