Maximum time a phone can stay in SRST mode

Is there a maximum time limit for a Cisco phone (SCCP or SIP) to stay in SRST mode? In other words, Can I keep my Cisco phone in SRST mode for 4 months?

I don't believe there's a timer for that, however, SRST is also not meant to be a long term replacement for CME or CUCM.

Yes you can. Apply an access list for 4 months. No timer though. This would also work only if the gateway is not MGCP.
