Good morning,
I received the following alert below this morning, RTMT still states that it is in safe range but I just wanted to know if there is anything that can be done to mitigate the situation:
Number of MediaListExhausted events exceeds 0 within 60 minutes.
The alert is generated on Thu Jan 12 08:00:06 EST 2012 on cluster StandAloneCluster.
There are 2 MediaListExhausted events (up to 30) received during the monitoring interval From Thu Jan 12 07:38:06 EST 2012 to Thu Jan 12 08:38:06 EST 2012:
MediaResourceListExhausted Originated from CallManager
MediaResourceListName : MRGL01-xo-for54-agents
MediaResourceType : MediaTerminationPoint

Hello Jason
Medialist exhausted means that CUCM has gone through all the devices in the Media Resource Group and was not able to assign a device to use. You can do this , Log in to RTMT , click on the Alert Menu> Set alert Properties > Select the alerts you are getting and uncheck the Enable Alert box or selecting the alert type MediaListExhausted andchoose next, then you will be able to configure a Threshold to trigger the alert only when the number of MediaListExhausted events exceed a certain number within an hour. This will reduce the number of alerts of this type.
If you want too take a look on CUCM RTMT documentation, in Alert section.
Rate this if helps you
Thanks
Leonardo

What is a safe number for the threshold to be configured to, it was currently set at 0 times within the last 60 minutes?

40 minutes, but take will decrease the alerts.
