Nothing.

You will only be able to do point-point (2-person) video with MPE.

The Video Advantage "web cameras" must be connected to a PC. The PC must be connected to the LAN port of an IP Phone.

The IP phone must be video enabled. Go to the phone's device configuration page and turn on Video, then reset the phone. You should see a little video camera icon in the lower right of the phone.

You have to enable video in the MPE administration interface. When you do so, the scheduling page will have additional information for video.

You can also set up reservationless video if you turn in on and do some setup in CallManager including the appropriate MRG / MRGL.

Let us know if you need further help getting this going. This should get you started.

I thought you could do multipoint VC with mpe

we have 2.01

also we have not had any software/drivers sent with the cameras can we download this?

Thanks

lol. Yes it does. BUT you get voice-activated switching. This means that the "loudest" two people talking can see one another.

To get full multi-party conferencing where everyone can see everyone else (ie, Brady Bunch or Hollywood squares) type display, you need an MCU of some sort. This is also called Continious Presence. Everyone is present on the screen simultaneously.

You can download the software from the Cisco web site under voice software, then Cisco Unified Video Advantage. You will need a Cisco account that has rights to download software.
