I have Cisco Unity 8.6 in my cluster.
The point of this discussion is that the MWIs are not working for a particular extension, working fine with every other extension. Messages are coming for that extension but the only issue is with MWI.
There are two extensions configured on a phone. MWIs are working fine for first extension but not for the other.
I configured that extension on other phone also but had the same issue.
Please suggest how to overcome this problem as there is nothing wrong figured out in reference to the configuration. I deleted and reconfigured the same but had the same issue.
Thanks All in Advance.

check the directory number configuration page for the extension in call manager,
voice mail-profile set to "default"
If this doesn't work then configure this ext on a separate ip phone, enable call forward all to voice mail to send all calls to voice mail instead of physical phone.

Hi,
Have you tried to set Visual Message MWI Policy to Light instead of Default? this is under Directory Number Configuration. Also, check check the lights and the extension manually by dialing the MWI numbers - Advanced Features > Voicemail > Message Waiting.

Hi Wilmer. Thanks for your reply.
But I have checked the extensions manually already abd I have also set the MWI policy to light. But nothing happen.
Everything seems perfect but don't know what this issue is. And this issue is happening only with the second line on the phone, first line is working perfect.

Hi
Voicemail Profile is set to defaull only.
Checked Visual Message Waiting Indicator Policy with "Use system policy" as well as "Light & Prompt", but nothing happen.
I checked this extension on the other IP phone also but no fruitful results.
The concern is this issue is happening only with the second line on the IP Phone, everything is perfect with the first line on the phone.

Let us know.

check whether the MWI is enabled for the user in unity connections..
go to the user Basics page and in edit-->message waiting indicator-->check the current status.
