Hi,
I am setting up a site in Switzerland and could use some help on the MGCP E1 PRI gateway settings. I beleive the telco is Swisscom. What would be typical settings for:
Pri Protocol type?
Channel IE type?
PCM type?
Line coding?
Framing?
Switch type?
Also I believe the D-channel is channel 15 - is that correct.
Anything else I need (I have done plenty of gateways in the US but this is my first one in Europe).
Thanks,
Bill

Hi
I also find a lot of mainland Europe use 'framing no-crc' on their E1s. Try that if it doesn't come up.

Hi,
Defaults should work ok .Use "PRI EURO".
Be sure that outgoing calls are signalled properly (calling number without leading "0", "national", called "unknown").
If it's not correct it will be masked by the provider and the main number will be signalled out.
You maybe find some useful info here about the Swiss Numbering Plan:
