MGCP Gateway and Calling Party Transformation

Hello,

I have CUCM 6.1.2 and MGCP Gateway (Cisco 3845). For some reasons I would like to create translation rule on MGCP Gateway ? Should it work ?

You cannot use translation rules on an MGCP gateway. You can, however, use translation patterns in CUCM. Translation patterns do not have all of the functionality of translation rules, but might accomplish your goal.
