MGCP Gateway Not Registered on CM

Hi, I have a 2851 MGCP Gateway with PRI QSIG connection to a PBX.

On the VG I see :

sh ccm

MGCP Domain Name: VG-Office.Pippo.it

Priority Status Host

============================================================

Primary Registered 172.16.8.41

First Backup None

Second Backup None

Current active Call Manager: 172.16.8.41

Backhaul/Redundant link port: 2428

but on a CM I see : NOT REISTERED

hi,

first check if your domain name "VG-Office.Pippo.it " in configured in ccm is the same as configured on the router.

check if you have selected the right gateway, port, interface type.

Also check that your controller (t1 / e1?) is up and operational. I've seen a MGCP controller router not show as registered until it was plugged into an operational E1 line and the controller brought up.
