Hello Experts,
We are facing problem with the MGCP Gateway from yesterday. It is showig on the gateway side that it isregistered with the call manager, but the endpoints of this gateway is showing unregistered in call manager side. Whenever i re-iniate the MGCP Process by typing
no mgcp
mgcp
then for the some time ( for 1 2 minutes ) , it shows that the MGCP gateway enpoints are registered but after that it becomes unregistered again.
Can someone explain me what is the reason behind ?
Hi i am also having problem in cucm8.6. did you get any solution for this. please post it if you have any workarround.

Hi i am also having the same issue in cucm8.6.when i added the gateway for minute it was register and after that showing unregistered in CUCM.

Hi,
delete the gateway from CCM. remove the MGCP from the voice gateway, reload the gateway.
after that configure the MGCP gateway and it to the CCM.

Thanks for the help.
I have restarted the CM service on both PUB and SUB after that my problem is resolved.
Also I have observed one thing when i was removing the MGCP call agent,Gw seems to be register but when reset the gateway showing unregister.
Commands:-
no mgcp call-agent
no mgcp
mgcp
So final solution is restart the CM services.

when you do reset from call manager, you need to run "no mgcp" and "mgcp" on the gateway

It is bad solving such cases by resetting CM whole service

due to that i don't recommend MGCP GWs, H323 is more more stable
