Mixed ESXI VERISON IN SAME CLUSTER

Hi , we currently have ESXI 5.X in our cluster but need to deploy new UCS servers which will result in 6.x ESXI on some UCS while the others will remain on 5.x. Medium term we will update the ESXI to be the same level but for now there will be a mixture in the same cluster - is there an issue with this?

No, as long as your CUCM supports both ESXi versions.

Cluster in the Esxi or UCS

As  Long as they are in different hardware and Esxi installed. inside server can be clustered  - until i hear your requirement is different here.
