Is 8K Hz the only rate supported for CME 10.5 MOH? I have a custom MOH file at 48000K Hz and after a conversion using audacity it is not usable.

Hi At,
For CME all i can find is below
music-on-hold filename containing G.711 A-law or u-law 8KHz encoded audio file (.wav or .au format). The file must be loaded into the routers flash memory, e.g., flash:/moh.au or flash:/audio/moh.au The minimum supported file size is 100 Kb.
Nothing for 48Khz on CME.
I can confirm that the below is for CUCM
This format mentioned:
•16-bit PCM wav file
•Stereo or mono
•Sample rates of 48 kHz, 32 kHz, 16 kHz, or 8 kHz

Thank you for the info. The two docs kind of contradict each other. My application is CME not CUCM.
This format mentioned:
•16-bit PCM wav file
•Stereo or mono
•Sample rates of 48 kHz, 32 kHz, 16 kHz, or 8 kHz
The voice-bits says only 8K Hz audio ?
Will CME be able to use 48Khz ?

Hi AT,
I also find below for you, it for UC520 running CME, but there is not much difference other than capacity.
