The file is still there.I checked that in the MOH audio source menu.However,i can not find the file in the TFTP management menu.Is it normal,could that be the cause?

Anyone who has an idea?

Hi

that error looks like the moh file was not found. upload the MOH file on that server 10.5.2.16 from CCM admin page of that server and then restart IPVM service. then try again

hope it helps

Pedro

The file was just uploaded, restart the service, it works for one call. Then I get that error...

Hi,

Good, it might have failed the second call because it took another moh server, upload the file to all the servers in your cluster.

Txs

Pedro

yes,that's right.

you need to make sure the MOH file(s) are on both servers as the streaming sometimes comes from the other one too.

I think that was the Issue. Although you can create Audio streams that are active on both servers, the actual file needs to be uploaded to each publisher and subscriber.

Well I'm having the exact same issue. I've uploaded one of the music files from the on hold CD that came with 6.1. I've uploaded it to all our nodes, and added it as a resource. It all looks OK, I set it as the MOH source for my phone, and I get silence. Set it back to the others and they work fine.

The logs show this:

01/28/2009 16:34:20.284 VoiceStrm| CIpPlayWav::StartPlaying (7,2,0) *ERROR* Error openning WAV file (/usr/local/cm/moh/Winging_It.ulaw.wav)|<:STANDALONECLUSTER><:XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX><:ALL><:0002>

01/28/2009 16:34:20.284 VoiceStrm|-->CIpPlayWav::ErrorCleanup (7,2,0) |<:STANDALONECLUSTER><:XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX><:ALL><:0002>

01/28/2009 16:34:20.284 VoiceStrm|<--CIpPlayWav::ErrorCleanup (7,2,0) |<:STANDALONECLUSTER><:XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX><:ALL><:0002>

01/28/2009 16:34:20.284 VoiceStrm| CMOHMgr::PlayStream (7,2,0) /usr/local/cm/moh/Winging_It.ulaw.wav failed to start|<:STANDALONECLUSTER><:XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX><:ERROR><:0400>

I've uploaded it to all nodes though. I went to /ccmadmin on each server, then to the MOH Audio File Management menu, and uploaded the file. It's all very odd!

The fix for me was to enable the Media Streaming App on one server only.

Thanks for posting that fix because I had to do the same thing. 5 points for you!

Hi,

My Call Manager is on the version 6.1 and i got the same issue, the MoH stopped working and the status on annunciator/ conference/ MoH server are unknown. I also fixed it restarting the Service "Cisco IP Voice Media Streaming App" (Serviceability) on PUB and SUB.

I Hope it helps!!!!
