We have two CUCM Groups:
Sub1-CMG
Subscriber-1
Subscriber-3
Sub2-CMG
Subscriber-2
Publisher
We have a vg224 that is connected to SUB1-CMG with the following:
!
sccp local FastEthernet0/0
sccp ccm cucm-sub1.staff.fusd.local id 1
sccp ccm cucm-sub3.staff.fusd.local id 2
sccp ccm 10.112.160.2 id 3
!
ccm-manager config server cucm-sub3 cucm-pub1
ccm-manager config
ccm-manager sccp local FastEthernet0/0
!
sccp ccm group 1
bind interface fa0/0
ass ccm 1 priority 1
ass ccm 2 priority 2
ass ccm 3 priority 3
switchback method graceful
!
voice service voip
!
stcapp
!
sccp
!
ccm-manager sccp
!
We want to move the vg224 to Sub2-CMG and changed group from Sub1-CMG to Sub2-CMG and the configuration to:
!
sccp local FastEthernet0/0
sccp ccm cucm-sub2.staff.fusd.local id 1
sccp ccm cucm-pub1.staff.fusd.local id 2
sccp ccm 10.112.160.2 id 3
!
ccm-manager config server cucm-sub3 cucm-pub1
ccm-manager config
ccm-manager sccp local FastEthernet0/0
!
sccp ccm group 1
bind interface fa0/0
ass ccm 1 priority 1
ass ccm 2 priority 2
ass ccm 3 priority 3
switchback method graceful
!
voice service voip
!
stcapp
!
sccp
!
ccm-manager sccp
!
After this was done, the vg224 would not register to Subscriber-2.
What are we missing here?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Does the device pool assigned to the SCCP ports in CUCM includes the same CUCM nodes in its CUCM group?
after the change, reset the gateway in CUCM and restart the box, see if that makes a difference
Please rate if helpful
You can try a no sccp / sccp after making changes in SCCP config.

That was it. Thanks.
