Multiple calls on Jabber for PC

RFC_2549
Level 1
Level 1

Hello,

I have configured 2 Jabber for PC, but they cannot merge multiple calls into one call. What can I do? For both Jabbers, the maximum number of calls is "4" and the busy trigger is "1"

Thank You

Giulia

What you are asking for is conferencing. To do this, you need to configure
CFB on your gateway and assign the MRGL to Jabber device pool. Only after
that you will be able to merge call and convert it from point to point call
to conference bridge. You use Jabber with WebEx cloud then its a different
configuration.

hello Mohammed, the customer is saying that other jabbers can do the conferencing but as far as I know we dont'have configured CBF on the gateway and asigned the MRGL to jabber device pool

Thank You

Giulia

Cross check that on cucm config. You might be having a CFB configured in
cucm and not used by any mrgl. CUCM uses these CFB which are not assigned
to any mrgl if it can't find one assigned to endpoint. Also the mrgl can be
usedd to device pool or device.

Just cross check because this is the only way for jabber to host
conferences in on prem deployment, using CFB. For desk phones I would
though about barge but not jabber.
