Multiple SIP registration - same IP address

Hello-

I'm trying to register multiple SIP softphones to CUCM from 1 IP address. IN CUCM 10 documentation there is a note that "CUCM doesnt support third party sip phone registration using the same IP unless the combination of the IP address and the port number in the contact header are unique."  but I don't see that note anywhere in CUCM 12.5 or CUCM 14 documentation. Has this been resolved with the later versions?
