Is it possible to configure the message waiting indicator light for a broadcast message with Call Manager and Unity Connection version 10.5.2.10000-5 ?
By design, system broadcast messages do not trigger message waiting indicators (MWIs) on user phones. They also do not trigger message notifications for alternative devices, such as a pager or another phone.
Just to add a note to the tips from my friend Java (+5), the workaround for this MWI limitation is generally to use System Distribution lists (all voicemail users) to send a "broadcast type" message that will light MWI lamps. You can control who has access to send these type of messages by using access lists from Advanced config;
