Hello,

I have 2 Cisco MCS 7800 call managers. One is provider and another one is subscriber. Subscriber is okay but provider is not booting. Even I cannot ping the IP also.

I need your kind instruction to fix this. Please check attached file for more details.

When I put ctrl+D, it tries to boot but after few minutes it tells again put ctrl+D.

Thanks,

Mohammed Abdul Wadud

Looks like something went wrong, do you have any power outage?

most likely hard disk error -  suggest opening a TAC case to investigate for you,

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

MCSs are all EOS/EOL, so TAC will not assist. And any CUCM version that was supported on MCS is also EOS/EOL.

Try with booting the server on the recovery DVD and run a repair. You can download the ISO for this from Cisco and then burn it to a disk.
