Client is requesting phones at their facility to ring in the following sequence. They have a Cisco 2921 with CUE 8.5.1.
Day mode 8am to 4:30pm
All calls go to receptionist
After 5 rings if no pick up front desk
Go to DON – 3901 and Admin – 3902 and Nurse stations - 4135 – 4130
After 5 rings if no one picks up go back to reception
4:30pm kick off night mode
Only ring 4135 and 4130 and all 5 cordless phones
Let it ring and ring until someone picks up per Stephanie
Not sure if I need to do this in the CUE via the Voice Mail -> Auto Attendant function, then create a custom script or if there's a simpler way. It's a 24/7 facility so we're strictly looking for two different ring sequences (day and night) to the specific extensions. We don't want the AutoAttendant to actually pick up and don't want callers to be able to dial by extension.
Can anyone point me to where I would start? Thanks much.

Hello,
You can try to configure time of day routing (for differentiating the 2 time periods) and use hunt-groups for grouping the numbers.
Time of day Routing configuration: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice-unified-communications/unified-communications-manager-callmanager/109588-tod-routing-example00.html
Hope this works for you,
George

This is possible on CME as well by using the night-service command, the following post(s) may be useful for you:
