Need it to ring in the callers phone when transfering with Auto Attendant

we are on CUCM 11.5, we have DID number sent to the Unity AA.  The Auto Attendant answers fine, and when i enter the extension it will transfer the call to the extension.  But during the time after I entered the extension, we get silence, which some people take as the AA dropped the call, and will hang up.  The call does get forwarded to the extension, we see the call on the phone, but if it doesn't get answered right away, the caller thinks the system hung up on them.  Can we get the system to give a ring back to the caller, so they know the call is being routed correctly?
