Need to update MOH

Dear Team,

I would like to update new MOH given by Management so please help me to accomplish this task.

I uploaded same and i tried to do test on exist phone but it did not work. I an confused because, when New MOH uploaded so it's sequence is 3 and exist is configured on 2. MoH 2 is mapped all devices pool via MRGL. 

I was doing the testing on single phone, where i made the changes on  Phone configuration, i selected both option but i am failed.

This phone is currently the part of MoH 2 and MoH 3. How should i figure out that Please let me know.

The Prompt response would be highly appreciated.

Would you like do that only for a single phone or for all phones?

Does the device, for that single test phone, itself have any User/Network MoH Audio Source configured?

Hello Georgios,

I need to configured for all phones.

For single phone, i changed the MoH setting for User/network with new MoH but it did not work.
No sound was comming just like mute so i confused because The phone is part of device pool and in device pool, Mrgl>MrG> configured with old MoH, i done the changes for single phone, here i am confused.

Query is like
1) Can i update the new MoH with all phone?
2) If I will not remove then, How second MoH will configure on all phones.

Note: My task is need to update new MoH on all phones / location.

First test for a single phone to make sure that the uploaded file is correct. You can test that by filling under Device -> Phone the User/Network Hold MOH Audio Source. The configured User file will be used when you press Hold on that phone (the other party  will hear it) but the file will be played from the other's phone MRGL. This explains it very well: MoH Selection Process

So, be sure that the file is upload at both MoH servers.

After you verify that the file is played properly, you can go at Media Resources -> Music On Hold Server Audio Source and assign that file at id 1.

Hello Sir,

i am sending you snapshot please confirm me. In snapshot, Two MoH file is displaying and it is done.

If i will assign new MoH on any single phone as you suggested me so it will work.

This new MOH is need to map with MRG>MrGl and then i need to assign on single phone for doing the testing. Please confirm.

How should i configure this MoH into MRG group because i added as 10 number and in MRG it is not showing. Do i need to create new MRG for new MoH. I am confused.

I gone through the MoH document but i have to understand that but dont have time for this.

Kindly help me for that.

You will have to alter the priorities at MoH Audio Source Configuration . For example, go to Media Resources -> Music On Hold Audio Source, click "2" and there change the "MOH Audio Source File" to the desired one.
