Cisco 7945 phone. Picking up the receiver and there is dead air. You can dial out and receive calls normally. If you hit "New Call" you can hear the dial tone. Just no dial tone, on receiver pick up. Phone was unplugged/plugged back in. It's software load matches all other working phones. I swapped it with a working phone from another station and the problem followed the phone to the new station.
Is this just a physical issue with the hook switch not engaging when the receiver is picked up or something else?
