No Ring back tone with Num-Exp

Hello All,

We have some num-exp configurations which translate 5 digits number to international numbers. For examplel

num-exp 345.. 900321131345..

The issue is that there's no ring back tone when we use the num-exp but there's ring back tone when we dial the entire international number. Here's the dial-peer config:

dial-peer voice 9001 pots
trunkgroup PRI
destination-pattern 9001[2-9]..[2-9]......
progress_ind progress enable 8
progress_ind connect enable 8
prefix 001

Thanks,

MK

Hi MK,

I see that you expand the number 345.. to 900321131345.. whereas the outbound dial-peer for international numbers seem to be 9001[2-9]..[2-9]......

The expanded number does not seem to match with the destoination pattern. Please check and confirm that the num-exp command is correct. What number do you exactly dial for an international call?

Since the gateway looks like an H.323 one, check the following doc for no-ringback troubleshooting

Hope that helps
