Hi,

Cannot get the nokia e61i to register to cucm6.0.1 using SIP - there is no intellisync installed.

Can somebody list the configs required on both CUCM and the nokia.

Thanks

Which Nokia Intellisync client do you have installed on the E61, SCCP or SIP?

We've done this for SCCP on CUCM V.5 and we just configured the phones on CUCM as 7961's. Then setup your Nokia using the intellisync client to register with CUCM (i.e add TFTP Server etc)

Hello,

You can find latest Nokia Intellisync call connect for Cisco client here: http://www.businesssoftware.nokia.com/nokia_intellisync_call_connect_for_cisco_downloads.php

The client uses SCCP and registers to CUCM as Cisco 7970 device type or Nokia S60 (which is recommended) You can find Cisco Option package, which enables Nokia S60 type to CUCM, also from downloads page

Have another E61i running with intellisync and working fine running SCCP.

Have another E61i with no intellisync installed - it just has the sip profile.

Just can't seem to get the phone registered.

Need to know what config needs to be done on the CUCM side,

eg - phone type - third party sip basic/advanced.

Does it need a user attached, does the E61i need username/password and realm configured etc?

Okey.

3rd party sip device uses digest authentication.

-Configure the end user that will be the Digest User

-Add Third-Party SIP device (advanced) (add owner user and digest user)

-Add and configure lines (DNs) on the phone.

-In the End User Configuration window, associate the third-party SIP phone with the user by using Device Association and choosing the SIP phone

Also realm is needed for Nokia SIP settings

I would suggest just to use SCCP :)

Thanks Pasi.

I did add the digest user to the SIP device but I didn't associate end user.

I was wondering about the REALM, if it needed to be done.
