Not able to send outgoing fax, in H.323 gateway

Hi,

I am Aslam, in my client office they are not able to send (outgoing) fax. But we can receive (incoming) fax.

We have a H.323 gateway in the site, through FXS port fax machine is connected.

While trying to send a fax its showing an error "H3 - no answer".

Can anyone please help with this. its urgent

Hi Aslam,

First of all, you need to clarify what is the complete call flow and all devices that are part of it, so we can have a better idea on what we are dealing with.

Please take a look on the following document with the most common Faxing supported call flows:

You also better not use "fax protocol cisco" under voice service voip, it's kind of legacy FoIP procotol now a days.

We know that you have an H323 GW receiving the calls, what about the end device? Is the fax machine connected to a different router?
