on-hook delay to avoid user accidentally disconnecting call

We’re encountering an issue where users are sometimes not picking up their phone handsets in a smooth motion, which causes the phone call to be hung up immediately as the handset touches the on hook button when the user picks up the phone.

 

Is there a way to set a timer on the phone where it will briefly ignore touching the on hook/off hook button under the handset so that users won’t accidentally hang up the phone?

I don't think there's any setting to do that, might want to think of maybe getting them headsets to avoid this.
