One way audio with MeetMe - remote site

Hello,

We have 5 sites each with their own UCM server all part of the same cluster. Each site has an H.323 gateway and each site has the UCM server configured as a conference bridge and is put in its relevant MRG via device pools, etc.

We have a DID that maps to our primary MeetMe number that comes in through the primary site's H.323 gateway. If we start the MeetMe conference from an IP Phone at the main site, people can join internally and from the PSTN using the DID and all works wonderfully.

However, if we start the MeetMe from any of the remote sites, we have issues with PSTN call-ins. Internally, it works great and people can join over the WAN from another IP phone. But any callers from the PSTN (mobile phone, land line, anywhere) can't be heard. They can hear the conference speakers but we can't hear them. Only an issue if the MeetMe isn't started at the main site.

Please help!

thanks

Are you using local conference bridges at the remote sites or are you using the same centralized CFB server or hardware resource that main site is using?  If the first scenario then ensure your SCCP configuration is bound to an interface, i.e. :

sccp local FastEthernet0/0

sccp ccm group 1

bind interface FastEthernet0/0

If the second ensure IP routing is configuration properly.

Chris

Hey Chris, thanks a lot. This is a new network for me and forgot the voice gateway was separate as this site. most sites have voice gateway/dmvpn on the same box. It was a routing issue. Cheers!
