Operational function of PVDM4 & VIC2-4FXO

Hi Team,

we have router with series 2900 and need to replace with 4300 series.

In order to replace voice module, we have an issue that MOdule VIC2-4FXO of router 2900 series is not compatible with cisco 4300 series and we have ordered PVDM4 which is also voice module for 4300 and that is also couldn't replace the VIC2-4FXO.

Now we want to know the function of both Module PVDM4 & VIC2-4FXO.

>>FXO card allows for POTS line connectivity to your router, basically each POTS line is a single phone line allowing connection to PSTN

Also notice that FXO and FXS cards for the ISR 4K do not require a separate PVDM4, they already have on-board PVDM for them to work.
