Outbound call prefix based on calling number

Hello all,

I have a CUCM , just i need to know if this scenario applicable or not:

is it possible to add a prefix to the outbound calls based on the extension number, example

if the calling is 6623 and the called number (outbound call number) is 99124563 i need when 6623 dial this number, the last two digits of the extension "23" added as a prefix to the outbound number to be 2399124563

same for 6655 once he dial the number 99124563 it will be 5599124563

is this possible to be achieved in CUCM

Re: Outbound call prefix based on calling number

Hello Hasan

Yes this is possible. You need to make translation patterns and put them in partition which can be accessed by extension's CSS only.

So taking your example-
when 6623 dial this number 99124563, the last two digits of the extension "23" added as a prefix to the outbound number to be 2399124563
So you need to make a translation pattern which is converting 99124563 to 2399124563 and put it in partition PT1
And add PT1 partition in 6623's CSS only.

But I think Making this pattern generic for all extensions is not possible.

Thanks
