Outgoing SIP calls not working

Hi SIP experts,

Outgoing SIP calls not working but can receive incoming calls without a problem. I have a backup configuration a year ago and compared it line by line  with the present configuration and I'm sure there's nothing changed in the config. I tried Zoiper phone app in my iPhone and it works fine, thus it's not the SIP provider.

We used to dial 9 + the outside number to use the sip service.

I have attached the "debug ccsip message" hope someone can help me look at it and can tell what's really going on.

I don't see any SIP signalling like INVITE/TRYING/OK

in your attached log

can you debug ccsip messages once more and see if you can obtain any SIP signalling traces of a failed call.

Hello Dennis,

Thanks for having a look at this. I did clear the log and do debug ccsip messages once more. I am attaching the file. One thing that i wanted to add, if I restart the router (phone and router all in one box 2900) the outgoing call is ok but after more than an hour, the outgoing call aren't going through anymore.

Only seeing SIP OK's in that output.going to  209.126.117.36    is that all you captured?  no SIP invites etc?

The number highlighted on red, that's the one I'm trying to call outside. That is a live phone number.

Is Calling Number=0749620122 & Called Number=0439728668 ??

If yes, then call is disconnecting with Cause Value=3 and that means it "Indicates that the called party cannot be reached because the network that the call has been routed through does not serve the desired destination".

Typical scenarios include:

ā€¢Domain Name System (DNS) resolution failure

ā€¢Invalid session target in configuration

Hello Suresh,

I had also had a quick look on that. I chat Engin tech support (SIP Provider), and asked if they have changed or any sort of outages on their DNS byo.engin.com.au.

But do you think the byo.engin.com.au should be even pingable?

Also to answer your first Question --> Is Calling Number=0749620122 (VOIP number) & Called Number=0439728668 (mobile number) ??

Not mandatory, many of us keep blocked of ping, so 'not-pinging' is not an issue.

it seems issue with service provider, or network (e.g. firewall).  If you can span the voice/cube router port and take wirewhark traces then you will get to know exactly what is happening.
