outside call has no fac in cdr during a conference call

Hi All,

We would like to ask on why the outside call has no FAC during a conference call. We are polishing the issue with the integrated call accounting in a call manager and as per checking by the support of the call accounting application, there is no fac for a specific call eventhough that route pattern is configured with FAC. Appreciate if you can help us identify this concern and if the flow is just an expected output/behavior.

Attached is the sample cdr file wherein Cisco User made a conference call to an outside number/IDD number however, we noticed that there was no FAC recorded on the CDR.

Thank you so much,

Kier

Hi Kier,

If you make a normal point to point call through that route pattern to an outside number, does it give the FAC details in the CDR output in that case?

This will help understand if the issue is with conference calls only or all of them and accordingly the troubleshooting can proceed further.

Hi Manish,

Thanks for your response. Actually on point to point call, we can see fac being recorded on the CDR. I don't know if the record on the CDR is expected and we just need check and identify all the leg for a conference call.

Thank you,

Kier

Hi Kier,

In that case you can check the following bug

https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCtg62317/?referring_site=bugquickviewredir

CDR doesn't reflect FAC code on conferences and transfers
CSCtg62317
Description
Symptom:
FAC doesn't appear in CDR

Conditions:
Blind conference: add the 3rd party, join the calls and hang up while it's still ringing.

Workaround:
Made the code changes in ProcessCdcc.cpp,EnvProcessCdr.cpp,TDCLcdrrecord.hpp
to record the cdr record for zero duration calls in blind conference and blind transfer scenarios if FAC/CMC is used.
