PC program that orders IP phone to place a call

Hi Everyone,

In our company we've deployed IP telephony and a phone directory program was made to make the search for contacts more easier from PC not the IP phone

We want to make the user just when selecting a contact from the list on the PC then an order is given to the attached IP phone to dial the selected number

So what should I have?

And is there any configuration needed on the callmanger?

Any help is appreciated

Hi

You haven't specified which phone system you are on, but assuming its CUCM (Communications Manager), click to call is probably the easiest one for you to use. This is supported in CUCM 7.0 and higher, although I have tested on 6.1(3) and it also seems to work.

Hi dears....

You can use.....Cisco web dialer from PC tp make call, Web dialer is already in your CUCM be default.

or

you can additionally use cisco click to call applicaion.

Click to call Orders a wide range of application s to make call from PC,like below shown

Mozilla Firefox 1.5 & 2.0

Internet Explorer 6.0 & 7.0

Microsoft Outlook 2003 & 2007

Microsoft SharePoint 2003 & 2007

Microsoft Office:

Word 2003 & 2007

Excel 2003 & 2007

PowerPoint 2003
