I configured the phone using SCCP, once the configuration was finalised I connected the phone - 1 x 7916 expansion modules - and its working fine , but when we connect 2 X 916 expansion , the status that the 2 expansion keep resetting , could it be simply power supply related. Hi MK,
Please follow these steps:

Cisco 7975 with 2 7915 add on modules

In order to get those 7962 phones with 2 7915 modules and 54 buttons lines please follow the steps below:

Steps

1.Navigate to Device -- > Device Settings -- > Phone button template.

2.Select standard 7962 template.

3.Copy this template and rename it to create a template with 54 buttons.

yes , may upgrading firmware for the phone will help?

we have phone 7975 SCCP75.9-4-2SR1-1S?

Just in case, follow these steps for connecting both Expansion Modules:
1) Plug one end of the second interface cable into the AUX jack with the “out” icon underneath on the first Expansion Module (the one closest to the phone).

2. Plug the other end of the second interface cable into the AUX jack with the “in” icon underneath on the second Expansion Module (the one next to the first Expansion Module).

If that doesn't work, let's try making a factory reset to phone.

Regards
