Does somebody knows what CSS controls idivert access on the phone line?

Your call forwarding CSS I believe as Divert simply forwards the call to your forward no answer destination (maybe forward busy :-) ).

Nop. It does not use any of the call forwards CSS (Busy, NA, unregister, etc)

Hi Alex,

Great question! I have never really thought hard about this one before, but after a couple quick tests and looking at the traces, the answer is clear.

Here is how the iDivert calls are routed:

  1. Device A initiates a phone call to Device B
  2. Device B presses the iDivert softkey
  3. The voicemail pilot number is chosen based on the Device B, the next step is the cool part.
  4. To reach the voicemail pilot number, the calling search space of Device A is used. This is where I originally thought that the CSS of the VM pilot would be used.

As long as Device A has access to the VM Pilot Number of Device B, the call will be routed correctly.

Please let us know if this helps!
