I've 7962 that keeps rebooting as soon as i power it on. doesn't let me go to settings or stuffs like that - it reboots in the meantime.
how to resolve it?

It reboots because it tries to recover from a configuration error in CM.
You do not need to do anything to the phone, but fix the CM configuration for the device.

You said it's a 7962, but using a 7960 profile ?
These are different models if you haven't noticed.

Try a keypad hard reset sequence, make sure your tftp service is in order and you have all the firmware files.

it says registration failed - mismatch xxxxxx. then after some time it reboots. i'm not sure if it has all firmwares. how to check it from the phone? is there any ways to remove this firmware and install fresh?

As mentioned the issue is on the CM side; you will get this error if you build phone A as phone B; for example, build a 7975 accidentally with the MAC address of a 7970...plug in the 7975 and you will get that error.

phone is correctly configured on CM side with 7960 SCCP profile..
