Hi Everyone,

We are planning to migrate 9000 SCCP IP phones to SIP. About 6000 of those phones are 7942. There're only 4 Device Pools for all 7942 phones. The Bulk Administration --> Phone --> Migrate Phones --> SCCP To SIP does not give me enough granularity to break those 6000 phones and migrate them in a smaller portion.

For me, the best approch is

1) Export phones with all détails

2) Modify the parameters in the export file to match SIP configuration

3) Starting from top of the exported file and deleting phones in batch

4) Inserting phones using the modified export file (with SIP config)

Big Problem:

We have about 2000 agents who are associated with JTAPI & RCMC users. Deleting phones will remove the association and will force us to manually reassociate the agent with the proper JTAPI & RMCM users after migrating to SIP.

Questions:

1) Does anybody have a better Approch/Idea to share?

2) What is the maximum number of phone we can migrate at the same time using Migrate Phones --> SCCP To SIP?

Why don't you use the extension as the search variable in the bulk administration to search for phone you want to migrate, this way you can do it in bite sized chunks?
