phone type not appear when adding new phone

Hi every body , i hope all on a good conditions, strange problem happened to me is that i have Cisco IP phones ( CP-7841-K9 ) i tried to add them but i couldnt found them on phone type field 

 

any one faced this problem before.

 

thanks and appreciate help on that issue

Make sure the cucm is one of the following

8.5.1

  8.6.2
  9.1.2
  10.x and later
 
If its not appearing with these versions, install the latest device pack for that cucm version.

As Manish and Rob said, you will need to install the proper device pack to support 7800 series IP Phones, you can check it out here:

After installing the device pack you have to reboot all the CUCM servers in your cluster.

Hi there,

 

If the 7841 is not supported/shown as an available device type on your current CUCM version you will need to install the appropriate Device Pack and reboot all servers in the cluster. If you let us know what version of CUCM you are running we can point you in the right direction for what Device package to install.
