Phones Resetting every 3 minutes.

Good Afternoon,

I am having issues with SIP phones resetting every few minutes. I can't remember exactly what caused it last time but it had something to do with the sip phones being on a different network if phones are on same network as the CME IP they do not reboot. There was a command i put on CME so the phones would not constantly reboot.

I cant find the thread where a user helped me last time.

Hi,

If the phones and DHCP server are in different subnet, then you need to use "ip helper-address" Command.

Fixed it with the bind command.

voice service voip
allow-connections sip to sip
fax protocol t38 version 0 ls-redundancy 0 hs-redundancy 0 fallback none
sip
bind control source-interface GigabitEthernet0/0
bind media source-interface GigabitEthernet0/0
min-se 900 session-expires 900
registrar server

It seems that you have intermittent connectivity drops between remote lan  and CME which is causing the phones to reset.

I think you need to troubleshoot the connectivity.
