I have a 7911 with an older firmware load so it won't update to our current default. I know I have to upgrade it in steps, but is there a way to look on the call manager and see what previous versions are installed so I know what to step up to first?

You can use the TFTP management page to see what's installed and available.

I don't know how old is the firmware but try to access the phone via http web.
And maybe give you the current load, in the newer firmwares you can do that.
