Problem counters With FXO cart

Hi,

I have Cisco Router 3945 with carts E1 and FXO. The version IOS is: c3900-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-2.T1.bin

The communication through E1 passed well without any problem. But I have some problem with FXO communication.

The problem that I have actually, when I start a call from IP phone to PSTN the counter displayed in the screen and begins calculating after that the user answer and he speak (for example, he told: ALLO).

If the user answers in this communication without speaking (told Allo) the counter don’t start in the IP phone.

My configuration FXO is:

Actually there is no problem at all, the product is working as designed, as explained in my post above.

Hi Paolo,

Thanks for your update.

When I enter the command "no supervisory answer dualtone" in voice port, the counter begain when I  dial the number in my IP phone (in the moment of the ring tone and before the user answer in thecall ).

Do you have any other idea?

There are only two options for two answer supervision on FXO ports:

1. voice-detection based answer supervsion, as per your original config (and it's working).

or

2. no answer supervision.

Choose one, or the other.
