problem with call divert uc540

I've two  uc549 connected over an internet vpn between a H3232 trunk.

The UC540A  is in italy and have two ISDN BRI The extension   are 10x, 11x and 12x

The UC540 Bis in switzerland and have also two isdn bri the extensions are 16x.

The user (for example) 101  in italy call 160 in switzerland.  the user 160  put the call  onHold and then call an external number. Whern the external number is online the user divert the call  to 101  but the call goes down.

From switzerland to italy all works well

can you have  any suggestion?

Hi,

it seems it is related to codec issue. I assume that the codec over WAN between Italy and Swiss is g729. the call to BRI is g711ulaw. when you transfer the call it drops due to codec mismatch.

you need to create transcoder in Swiss UC540 to solve your issue.

Hi  Anas, manye  thanks for help.

The codec was correct, and I've solved the problem configuring the trunks between callmanagers in SIP instead of H£23.

With  SIP  now all works well.

Hi,

good to hear that, I think you need to add h323 voip interface and h323 voip bind srcaddr xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx for the voice interfaces in both sites. after that the H323 dial-peers will work
