Problem with SCCP phones through a Trunk SIP

AsmaElHamza4027

Hello,

We have two Sites. the call flow is like that:

e.g IP Phone ->SCCP or SIP->CME->SIP TRUNK-> CUCM ->IP Phone

The problem is that phones working with SCCP like phones of type 6921 can’t call phones connected to the CUCM. Although, phones working with SIP can call phones connected to the CUCM through the SIP TRUNK.

Can you please give me some advice on how to fix the problem with for SCCP phones?

Thanks & Regards

Hi,

Do you have SIP or SCCP Phones on CUCM? Please post complete configuration of your CME router.

Please rate helpful posts and if applicable mark "Accept as a Solution".
Thanks, Vaijanath S.

Thank you for your reply.

We have both SIP and SCCP phones on the CUCM.

1) Is there any firewall in the path, then make sure SCCP & SIP Inspection is turned off in firewall.
2) Enable below logs on CUCME and share the output to further troubleshoot.
debug ccsip messages

Thanks,

On CME debug ccsip me and make a test call. This will confirm whether call
is going to CUCM or not and will give an indication of the error.

Thank you for your reply.

This is the debug messages after a test call:

Can you guide me to the solution?

Thank you very much.

Hi,
From the logs two things are clear:
1. The outbound call is unable to find SIP Target. Do you have dial-peers configured with SIP Server Group or SIP Target? Please post your CME configuration.

Jun 25 09:46:02.710: //-1/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx/SIP/Event/sipSPIEventInfo: Queued event from SIP SPI : SIPSPI_EV_REGISTER_RESP
Jun 25 09:46:05.354: //25421783/DF293515-9664-11E9-982B-938E66C15EB6/SIP/Error/sipSPIGetCallServerGroupTargets:
No server group configured

2. The codec mismatch or unsupported codec. Which codec are you using on CME and CUCM side?

Jun 25 09:46:05.354: //-1/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx/SIP/Error/voipCodec_to_rtpAvpCodec:
Unexpected VoIPCodec Type :No Codec
Jun 25 09:46:05.354: //25421783/DF293515-9664-11E9-982B-938E66C15EB6/SIP/Error/sipSPIAddSDPMediaPayload:
Call Origination Failed: None of the selected codec from CLI is supported by SIP

Thanks, Vaijanath S.

Thank you very much for your time. I attached the CME configuration.

What is the calling number, called number, and IP Address of CUCM?

Please rate helpful posts and if applicable mark "Accept as a Solution".
Thanks, Vaijanath S.

You need to share debug ccsip mess and debug voice dialpeer all to see which dialpeer is used as you have many.
