Michael All

Hello everyone,

I need to know a good way to monitor QoS for voice traffic between a new remote location and the CUCM in our datacenter. Can anyone please provideme with what I should be looking at to do this? The CUCM is at version 8.0.3.21900-8.

Thank you,

Michael All

We use IP SLA's on the routers in our locations.  You can monitor (and send SNMP traps on) calculated voice score, jitter, etc.

You could deploy a netflow collector and export netflow from a wan router (or any netflow capable device in the path of the rtp stream).

Hi Daniel, do you know any free netflow collector that I can use to monitor voice traffic? Thanks!

There are a few free options out there.

ntop is an open source option.

Manage engine, solarwinds and plixer provide free versions of there product if the deployment is small.

Thanks for all of the tips. I'll probably look at doing the IP SLAs and see how that works
